CCoE

The Cyber Centre of Excellence (CCoE) exists to strengthen cyber resilience across the UK’s public sector and wider communities. Established in response to the growing scale and complexity of cyber threats, the CCoE provides practical, high-quality protection, insight and support to organisations responsible for delivering vital public services. Operating as part of the IESE Group, the CCoE combines a strong not-for-profit ethos with access to leading cyber expertise, enabling the delivery of military-grade cyber security solutions at an accessible, sector-sensitive price point. Its work is guided by a distinguished Advisory Board of cyber specialists, ensuring alignment with emerging risks, evolving technologies and national standards, including those set by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The CCoE supports local authorities, health and care organisations, schools and businesses through a comprehensive suite of services. These include protective technologies, training, testing, and ongoing guidance and strategic support. A key focus is on identifying, testing and deploying effective cyber solutions, working collaboratively with the public sector to pilot and refine approaches that can be scaled nationally.
Driven by a clear purpose, to help make the UK the safest place to live and work in the digital world, the CCoE enables organisations not only to respond to cyber threats, but to stay ahead of them.

Risk Ledger

Traditional TPRM is no longer enough. Annual supplier assessment data goes stale quickly and siloed processes leave security teams blind to systemic risks. The result? Supply chain incidents continue to rise, regulators demand more oversight, and your business remains exposed to hidden supply chain risks. Risk Ledger delivers continuous, collaborative systemic defence with our network-first Active Supply Chain Security platform. Suppliers complete a standardised security assessment and share it with clients on the network. The network model allows organisations to map their supply chains as it truly exists to uncover hidden nth party relationships and identify concentration risks. When new vulnerabilities emerge, see which suppliers are impacted and proactively respond before impact cascades. Risk Ledger is trusted by the UK’s leading organisations including British Airways, Pennon Water, Blake Morgan and Allica Bank to assess 16,000+ suppliers, share intelligence, and Defend as One.

Cyber Innovation Hub

Cyber resilience requires more than technology alone. It depends on people, culture, and the confidence to make informed decisions in the face of evolving threats. The Cyber Innovation Hub (CIH) brings cyber risks to life through immersive testbeds, provides leaders with the evidence needed to drive action, and develops lasting capability through training, innovation, and venture creation. In doing so, CIH helps organisations protect what matters most.
CIH is led by Cardiff University and the University of South Wales, both recognised by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) as Academic Centres of Excellence in Cyber Security Research, Innovation and Education. The Hub is supported by a consortium of public and private sector partners, including Airbus, Amentum, CGI, Thales, and the Alacrity Foundation. This unique collaboration combines world-class research, industry expertise, and venture-building capability to accelerate the journey from innovation to real-world cyber solutions.
By creating a critical mass of cyber activity, CIH will strengthen Wales's cyber ecosystem, attract national and international investment, and generate long-term economic and societal benefits for partners, funders, and communities across the region.
